Hi
I have a DAQCard 6062E card I would like to use with a Dell latitude E5520 laptop with Windows 7 32-bit, I am using MAX 5.3.1 with DAQmx version 9.6 (latest) and Labview 2012 is installed. The card is compatable with windows 7 32-bit and these verisons of MAX and DAQmx but when I open MAX I can't see the card.
I am using a startech expresscard to cardbus adapter CB2EC to take the DAQcard to the express card slot of the laptop.
I know that labview don't sell or test PCMCIA to EC slot adapters, but on the forums there are examples of them working. Has anybody tried this set-up?
Can you suggest anything I could try to get the card recognised?
I want to use the DAQ6062E card not buy a USB DAQ device.
Thanks

Hi emptr,
Welcome to the NI Discussion Forums!
Unfortunately you are correct in saying that the ExpressCard to CardBus adaptor is not compatible with many products, including the NI 6062E card. This is due to the fact that ExpressCard and CardBus do not communicate in the same way, and so the data cannot be transmitted correctly.
If anybody else has any experience, suggestions or success in getting this setup to work it would be great to hear.
