Under device manager, go to the properties for your card. Select the tab Resources. Deselect the option Use "Use automatic settings". Then select another settings that allows you to change IRQ to one without conflicts. Restar PC and try using your board

I had a Compaq Presario 2500 with TI Cardbus using a DAQCard 1200 using NIDAQ 6.9.3 . The patch fixed it. Thanks a million.

Windows 2000/XP uses a different IRQ designation system then 95/98/ME/NT. You cannot change the IRQ settings manually.

The patch mentioned above fixes the "Device not responding to first IRG level" problem.

The patch has solved my IRQ problem with an HP laptop however I have an Acer Travelmate 4220 that I need to use with DAQ 1200 and the same patch does not work.... can anyone advise ?

Using XP  service pack 2 and driver 6.9.3.
