DAQcard ai-164-4 not reponding in Max 2.2

The DAQcard ai-16e-4 is not found by Laptop Compaq Armada 1700, not recognized by the system plug and play, we are worked with this card but whe we installed the Max this card are labeled by the windows like Unknow device, the version of windows is Windows98se

You say that you installed MAX but did you install NI-DAQ? Make sure you install NI-DAQ prior to installing the DAQCard into the laptop. I would suggest to install NI-DAQ 6.9.3 which you can download from the link below. If you have installed NI-DAQ, you might try uninstalling and reinstalling NI-DAQ without the DAQCard in the laptop. The configuration wizard linked below could also be used as a reference. I hope this helps.
