DAQmx 8.9.5 and LabVIEW 7.1 issues

I have the following problem:

I am able to create a DAQmx task in MAX, however when try to program in LV, i'm not able to find any of the usual DAQmx vi's.

I have LV 7.1 installed and recently updated the NI-DAQmx to version 8.9.5, however only now I find that there is no support for LV 7.1. The latest version of DAQmx that supports LV 7.1 is 8.9. I've tried to install it but the installer says that all the drivers are up to date and will not continue.

Could i possibly uninstall DAQmx 8.9.5? and then install 8.9?

Maybe there is another solution?

Thank you,

Ivan

Hello,

Your best bet is to uninstall DAQmx 8.9.5 and install 8.9. LabVIEW 7.1 is no longer supported by NI.

I hope this helps!

Mark is correct, you should uninstall 8.9.5 and install 8.9.

That was a bit silly on my part. I could not find the uninstaller in the LabVIEW directory. All I have to do is just go to Control Panle/Add Remove Software and click on the National Instrument folder. A list comes up with all the installed NI software, including NI DAQmx 8.9.5.
