DMA programming

I am programming a PCI E series board, without the NI-DAQ, i.e.: register
level.
I have beed probing the examples, but the example 4 (DMA) does not work.


Has this example been probed succesfully by anyone?

Hi, I am trying to do DMA programming too. I got other examples except for Example 4. Could you tell me where to find this example or (if you have it) could you email it to me? Thanks.

Hi Ruben,

To begin, what OS are you using? If you are using Linux or Mac, then we have a new driver called NI DAQmx Base that can be used in those operating systems. I am assuming you are trying to run example 4 from the E Series RLP Manual. Unfortunately, we don't support RLP, but the manual does say that unless you are using DOS then you will have to modify the program. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of this driver, and hope that you will find the answers you are looking for. I hope you have a Wonderful Day!
