Daqmx ADE missing in Measurement and Automation

Hello everyone,

I am trying to isntall Daqmx9.7.5 and run daq in labview2013.     I have labview 2013 and daqmx 9.7.5 both installed in a proper way(I think).

But by any way I cant see daqmx ADE appear in the software list in Measurement and Automation. See figure below.

So of course I dont have any icons for daq under labview.

Wondering why it is like this. Should daqmx ADE not be installed automatically during daqmx installation?

What should I checke now? Thanks.

BTW a same setup runs well in another PC. Both the OS is win7 64bits.

Did you install DAQmx before or after LabVIEW.  You should install it after LabVIEW.

Try to install DAQmx again.  It should detect that most of DAQmx is already installed and will just install the LabVIEW support.

It looks like you probably installed the NI-DAQmx Run-Time Engine 9.7.5 - (Configuration with MAX) instead of NI-DAQmx 9.7.5 (the full version that includes API support.)  Reinstall from that second link and you should be okay.
