Hi,
I don't know about anything about DAQ devices but I am wondering if you could help me with this concern. I need to buy a DAQ system and I don't know which model fits well for measuring voltage.
I am studying a microbial electrolysis cell which generates an electrical current as part of its process.
Before I worked with this and I collected voltage data across the resistance by a DAQ (from this brand) but now I am working in another lab where I have to buy this device...and
I don't have any idea what to buy.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions
Regards

What voltage range are you trying to measure? How many channels do you need to read? What rate do you want to sample these channels at? What type of connection do you want (USB, Ethernet, PXI)?

Thank you so much 🙂
What voltage range are you trying to measure?
Based on the studies in bioelectrochemistry that I have read, the range could be between -2 to +2 V
How many channels do you need to read?
6 pairs, for each pair, one hole would correspond to wire for a + out and the other hole for a - out.
What rate do you want to sample these channels at? What type of connection do you want (USB, Ethernet, PXI)?
I would like to measure each 300 seconds, and
I think the connection would be USB.

So nothing fancy here. So unless you need more accuracy, I would probably just go with a USB-6210. It can handle 8 differential signals at various ranges up to 10V. You can do more shopping here: Multifunction I/O Device
