We have a LabVIEW setup that uses a cRIO 9114/9239 combination to acquire data from an NI-9239 module and it has been used successfully for a number of years. It's data rate ranges between 2kHz and 50kHz using a text ring to control the rate. A new requirement has the data rate dropping to as low as 1Hz. Have not been able to find the lowest data rate that the hardware configuration can handle. Does any know what the lowest data rate is and do you have any examples? If the hardware is not able to have data rates lower than 2 kHz, we may have to attempt a decimation process. Does anyone have any examples of decimating in this context?
