I seek a way to detect in LabVIEW code whether an installed PCI-5000 series board has the offset feature. The offset I refer to allows getting the best possible resolution of an AC signal which is superposed on a DC offset. The signal's DC offset would otherwise make it necessary to increase the measurement range to include the DC offset, plus peak AC signal amplitude, and thereby reduce the resolution of the acquired AC signal part.
How can LabVIEW code detect whether an installed board has this offset ability by reading a property, or other simple way that does not require and input signal?
