Hi,
I was upgrading my device drivers with the Third Quarter 2008 (August ) Update. After i did and restarted my computer, It went ahead with re-installing the four NI cards that i have.
It did install the two 4461 cards that i have but it could not install the 6509 and 6289 cards that i have. I detects then as PCI cards but fails to find drivers. I tried manually updating the drivers but to my surprise when i went to manualy select the driver I could not find the Devices NI PXI- 6509 and NI PXI-6289 in the Devices List under NI Data Acquisition Drivers.
Please tell me whether the Third Quarter update is missing on the drivers for the above cards?
I expect a quick response as my work is at stand still cause now i can not start my software without the cards.
Regards,
Alok Damle.

By the way there were some errors that were encountered during the installation of the new drivers.
Can anybody tell me how to revert back to old drivers??

I tried installing these drivers directly. however the error was still persisting. It was related to the Windows Installer relating to some sequence of operation.
Unfortunatly i had to re-install my windows to get passt the error. Now everything working fine.
Thanks
