Digital Output with USB-6009

I am trying to use my 6009 product to drive an SSR which requires 4VDC min. to turn on. I notice that the default supplies less than 4VDC. I have used the "DAQmx Channel" property node in LabVIEW 8.2 to write the "DO.OutputDriveType" to Active or Open Collector, but it still does not supply the voltage required to drive the relay. Could someone help me figure out how to get 5VDC to my relay from a USB-6009 DO?

Thanks,

Simon

It's not that it can't supply the 5 volts, it's probably that it can't provide enough curent and the voltage is dropping because of that. You might want to connect the digital output to a relay driver ic such as one of the ULN series of devices.
