Directly wiring AO on SC-2345

I am trying to directly wire an analog output to my gas flow controller to set voltages and change a flow rate. I am using a SC-2345 connector block with a PCI-6229 DAQ. From the pin designations of the SC-2345 I should be connected to AO 0 (Pin 1) and AO GND (Pin 2) in J17. However, using my test panels I can't seem to control the AO 0 using my PCI-6229. Any thoughts?

As an update, the issue was one of finding the appropriate AO port on the PCI and matching it with the AO on the board.
