Does 9264 work with 9172 chassis?

Hello,

I was wondering if the 9264 analog output card can be used in the 9172 chassis??

Also is there any way to control an RS232 device with the 9172 chassis??

Hi John,

The 9164 can be used within the 9172 chassis.  In addition, there is currently no modules that will allow you to control an RS232 device from within the 9172 chassis.  You could use one of our USB-232 products such as the one found here.  With two USB connections to a computer, you could then control both the RS232 device and 9172 chassis from your computer.  I would also like to mention that you might like to take a look at our Compact DAQ advisor webpage which can be found here.  It should help guide you in finding the modules that meet your needs that will work with the 9172.
