Hello, I am using a cDAQ-9181 with a cDAQ 9401 board. I created a task in max for counter 0 to read frequency with the following settings
Signal input range
Min 2 Hz
Max 50kHz
Starting Edge Rising
1 counter(low frequency)
1 Sample (On Demand)
I need to aquire this frequency every 10 ms so I tell it to time out at 0
I have an input frequency of 5Vpp sweeping from 1 to 40kHz rising time of 30Sec and Return Time of 30sec so the whole wave takes about a minute.
It works fine for a while but every now and then it pauses for about 250ms and I believed it should time out but it doesn't return an error. Is there another setting that I need to set up for it to time out or this is hardware related and there isn't much I can do but to wait?
I have attached the vi that comes with labview and updated it to show what is happening.
