Frequncy measurement USB 6009

Dear Friends,

Is there any ways to improve the frequncy measurement bit more by using USB6009 (by changing the program which is attached with this post). I need some more accuracy. My range is 1kHz to 400kHz,

Usually, when you are doing frequency measurements, you need two counters if you need an accurate measurement. The USB 6009 only has one counter and doesn't have that good of a resolution either (it's one of the cheapest DAQ device sold by NI). I would recommend you look into cards that are provided for frequency measurements.

Hi Rathan,

Just to be more clear, a card with two counters should be sufficient. Ofcourse, I would encourage you to go for higher resolution but that depends on your budget. Also, you should probably contact the NI Field Engineer of your area and they should be able to provide you with a loaner card, if you request nicely :); they are really good about those things.
