Dear all,
I'm relatively new to DAQmx programming and i need some help. Here's what I'm trying to do:
I want to use a PXI-4461 to constantly generate a (square) voltage which randomly fluctuates over time. This square voltage is the sum of two square waves, one with a constant amplitude/frequency, the other with an adjustable amplitude/frequency. I use the AO channel to generate the signal and the AI channel to read the signal simultaniously.
I created a little VI which generates this, but:
1> To achieve my results, i need to overwrite the signal constantly, resulting in data loss every cycle. Is there a more appropiate way to program this?? (I might've been overlooking some DAQ functions) oO
2> The squarewave acquired by the AI isnt a square! Does this have to do with the sampling??
Any help would be gladly appreciated, as well as tips for DAQ programming 🙂
