The Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) test panel is a good tool to use to test the functionality of your board. I would recommend testing both analog output channels to see if you observe the same behavior on both.

Another tool you can use to verify your test panel findings is the online E Series Diagnostic Utility available at:

http://www.ni.com/support/selftest/

Please make sure that everything is disconnected from your data acquisition board before running this utility. This utility tests the multiple functionalities of E Series boards, including analog output. The following KnowledgeBase describes the tests that it runs:

Using the E Ser
ies Diagnostic Utility

If any of the tests fail, I recommend selecting the option at the end of the utility to send the report directly to National Instruments. All possible board repairs are handled over the phone by application engineers who are able to access those reports to help determine whether your board is in need of repair.

To call an applications engineer for technical support, please go to the following link:

http://www.ni.com/ask

From this web site, you can generate a service request number and then call the toll free number displayed on the screen.

I hope this helps.
