Solved!

Hello,

I curently have a USB CDaq (cDAQ-9178) and I would like to interface it with a RJ45/USB 2.0 adapter. It does not appear in NI max. Do you know what could I do to interface it, please ?

To my knowledge, a USB-RS45 adapter emulates an Ethernet port on a USB port. It does not work in the opposite direction. Try connecting a mouse or USB drive to it and see it works.

So you have the adapter plugged into the USB port on the cDAQ? That will not work. The cDAQ does not have the drivers/ability to enumerate a network port over USB, nor would it know how to communicate with it. You need to connect the cDAQ to a host PC over USB.

If you need the cDAQ to be further from the host PC than a USB cable would allow, you could use a cDAQ-9189 and connect to a PC or LAN network over Ethernet.
