High noise reception in my Pci-6013

I recently bouth a Pci-6013 board with a ribbon cable and the CB 68Lp pin connector in substitution of my old Lab-pc1200 (i don´t need the analog output as i´m driving relays). I installed it with no problem, but when i startet the MAX explorer and opened the test pannel for my surprise i realized i was reading a noise (i supose, as i haven´t connectet any signal yet to the analog input) of about one volt, and some tiemes, as i start the test pannel i can get to read -3volts. Thats way away from maching my needs (my input signal comes from a the UB502 preamplifier from Behringer that gives a 1V signal more or less). I would apreciate any hinch on wether the board is deficient and i have to turn it back,or what could be happening. I a
sume that this is´t the correct working behavior of the board, that has a maximun imput signal of 10v, and 1v noise gives a very disappointing SNR.
I also would like to know wether i can get real time with this board in the 350ms order using a multitask operational system like the windows XP (i bealive that the program, with the normal daq boards, is run by the computer processor, and by now it´s not possible the adquisition of a new board).
Thank you very much for your help.

The behavior you are experiencing is expected. When you do not have a signal connected to your inputs, then the value is floating. A floating value can be anything between +-10 V. you will find that once you connect a signal you will see your 16 bits of resolution with very low noise. You can reference our online accuracy calculator for the absolute accuracy of your board, which takes into account noise from internal sources.
The calculator has not been updated with specific 6013 data, however you can choose any other 16 bit E-Series card. The calculator can be found at:
