High voltage DC measurements - Which module to use

Hi, we are looking to measure voltages up to 800VDC from an isolated high voltage power supply.

 

We have an NI CompactDAQ and would like to know what module we can use.

 

I found the NI-9244 which is rated for 800V line-to-line, would this be suitable for 800VDC?

Why not attenuate it into a safer range?
