Hello all,
I need to continuously and  simultaneously acquire and generate data with a NI USB-6216 card. While acquiring, I need to change the amplitude of the output signal as a function of a trigger derived from the input. I tired to follow some tutorials, but the output signal changes several seconds after the trigger. The same happens if I tried to change the amplitude of the output directly from a controller. I guess this is due to the on-board memory of the daq card that stores some samples and has to be emptied before releasing the new ones. I can only shorten the respond time by increasing the sampling frequency (in this way the hardware buffer is emptied faster). Is there another way to make the new samples immediately available at the output?
I hope it is enough clear

Thanks a  lot!

Have just coupple of day of patiente.
Thanks

I'm very sorry but there is no option to flush the on board FIFO memory.
You can:
- rise the sample rate to quickly flush the buffer,
- make a shorter buffer,
Thanks so much
