How can I use pci-6024e tomeasure the analog signal?

Hi Sir,
I want to use 6024e to measure the voltage from a instrument which measure the the bright temperature. I use loop structure every 10 second, I read a voltage value from AI2. I use Single-ended ground reference(RSE) methos and  connect positive to ACH2, negtive to AIGND. I can not read the correct voltage.

When I use front pannel to test it, It produce a noise wave.  I need your help for this.

Could u attach the VI that you are using?? ( probably you have not selected the Mode as 'RSE' while configuring your AI channel)

Did u measure the voltage on same channel using Measurement and Automation explorer?? if yes, what did you observe??

And a little more information about the type of signal source ( wheather it is a floating/ground referenced signal) and its voltage range would be helpful in answering your query.

Hi,

I use MAX to test, and set the AI in RSE mode, when the autoscle is choosed, its display  looks  like a noise, but when I  do not chose  autoscale,  Its display looks like a real signal. I think I got it.
