How can I work with NI cDAQ-9172 and NI 9215?

Dear all

   I am confused with the new device NI cDAQ-9172 and NI9215. In the past, I worked with PCI-6035E and developed a software.Yesterday  I purchase

the above-mentioned new equiments. Now I can see them in M&A exploer and test them successfully, just like PCI 6035E. But when I attempt to 

run the software developed with PCI-6035E, I can not find the physcal channel and the error -10401 appears.

  What´s the problem and how to solve it?

Hi,

I'm assuming you are recognizing your device as a NI 9215A under NI-DAQmx devices in MAX.

From the error code, it sounds like your program might be developed using the Traditional NI-DAQ driver as opposed to NI-DAQmx.  If this is the case, then you will have to transition your application away from Traditional NI-DAQ, as he NI 9215A can only be programmed using NI-DAQmx.
