I do not want to change input mode of a DAQ card (Diff, RSE, NRSE) when I start the application. At the same time I need to know current mode since max number of input channels depends on it. So which function should I use?

Hello;
That information can't be accessed programatically. There isn't any NI-DAQ function call that return that information.
