Hi
I got the NI USB 9215
I was trying to configure the DAQ
But I was not able to understand the wiring of the pressure transducer to the DAQ
the specification of the transducer are
input 10VDC
output 3.33 mV/V
6 wired
A Signal +
B Signal -
C Excitation +
D Excitation -
E Calibration
F Calibration
Please guide me

This pressure transducer is an unamplified full bridge, strain gauge type.
DC excitation voltage would be applied to Excitation +, Excitation - ( 10VDC max )
Output of transducer is the Signal +, Signal -
Guessing these are shunt calibration wires. Can probably be left unconnected for now. Would be a good idea to find data sheet and verify this.
If 10.00 VDC is used for excitation, then transducer will output 33.3mV at fullscale pressure. If you use 5.00 volts of excitation, then fullscale output will be 16.65 mV. That means that you are dealing with a very small signal. Make sure that the 9215 will provide adequate resolution.

The 9215 does not provide excitation, so you will need to get an external excitation signal. The Signal+/- will hook up to, for example, AI0+/-.
If you're looking for a module with excitation, the NI-9233 or NI-9234 might be a better choice, as they provide excitation.
