Hi,
The sampling rate for your PCI-MIO-16E-4 board is 500kHz if you are sampling only 1 channel and 250kHz divided by the number of channels if you are sampling on multiple channels. The main factors that limit these sampling rates are the resistances and capacitance at the beginning of the amplifier circuitry. I have also seen large source impedances reduce these sampling rates. Usually, if your source impedance is less than 10k ohms you should be fine. If you are a magnitude larger than that you might need to use a unity buffer to transmit the exact same voltage but acting as a much smaller source impedance. Here are some excellent resources:
