How to connect to gpib-usb device in Red hat Linux ws 4

I have recently added the device software to linux , and loaded teh drivers also from teh cd. I can view the device with the software but i am having trouble connecting to the device . So has anyone used teh device under linux can provide with wth a procces of how to thsi would help a lot . Thanks

Hi,
Would you please be a bit more specific on the information provided.  I'm not able to understand what works and what doesn't.  Driver name, device name, "software" name. 

Also, would you please mention what you mean by having trouble connecting to the device?  What happens exactly?  Do you get an error?  If yes, is there an error code?
