How to control the analog out instantaneously?

Hi everyone:

     I'm using the PCI6115 and labVIEW 8.6,the task is to build an analog voltage out, and I don't kown how to control the voltage level without stop the task and reread the buffer. Is there possible to change the content of the buffer while the out task is running?

Yes. Have you looked at any of the DAQmx example programs that come with LabVIEW? There's a couple that update the analog out without stopping the task. One is Cont Gen Voltage Wfm-Int Clk-Non Regeneration and another is Gen Mult Volt Updates-SW Timed.
