How to generate retriggerable AO waveform from quadrature ABZ encoder on LV8.0 so that Z-pulse restarts the waveform and A-B pulses clock it

Hello Mikhail,

I checked the device routes for your 6221, and the route between the 100 kHz timebase and the PFI lines is listed as "Inderect Route Through Subsystem."  I then used the DAQmx Connect Terminals VI to connect the 100 kHz timebase to a PFI line.  Lastly, I connected the PFI line to one of the analog input lines and then did an analog input test panel in Measurement & Automation Explorer to see if I was getting the 100 kHz timebase signal.  It worked.  I recommend you try the same procedure.  If you get an error saying that the route could not be completed because the resource or terminal is reserved, just reset the DAQ device in Measurment & Automation Explorer, and it should clear the error.
