How to install An AT-MIO-16X chip/board

I have a Windows NT computer and i need to install an AT-MIO-16X board onto it to run with Labview 7.0 How can i do this. I've tried to get the computer to recognize the board/chip with Labview 6.i and even 5.1 with no luck. What needs to be done to make this work?

Greetings Jocher,

NI-DAQ 6.1 was the last version of NI-DAQ to support the AT-MIO-16X device. So you will have to make sure you have NI-DAQ 6.1 or previous installed to install/configure the AT-MIO-16X device.

NI-DAQ 6.1 included support for LabVIEW 5.x, LabVIEW 4.x, and LabVIEW 3.x. There is a document (linked below) that illustrates how to install older versions of NI-DAQ with LabVIEW 6.x versions.

How Do I Use Older Versions of NI-DAQ (6.8 or Earlier) with LabVIEW 6.x?

If you have LabVIEW 7, I would suggest to upgrade your hardware so you can use LabVIEW 7 and NI-DAQ 7.x with your hardware. NI-DAQ 7.x and LabVIEW 7 have some great features that allow for quick
and easy data acquisition programming. Our basic multifunction devices are inexpensive with tons of functionality and are supported under NI-DAQ 7.1. I have linked to these devices below for a reference.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
