How to maintain cdaq device names across platforms

I use mulitple cDAQ chassis (cDAQ-9178 and cDAQ-9171) for various data acquisition functions. What I want to be able to do is name a device in MAX and have that device be recongized by that name on any computer the device is plugged into.

Is this possible with the cDAQ hardware?

Hey CJTilley,

This is only possible by importing and exporting the MAX configuration files across each PC.  This will keep all the settings for the virtual channels and device names, that were created in MAX.
