How to use NI 9211 to monitor more than 1 physical channel of temperature?

Solved!
Go to solution

I am using NI 9211 with carrier USB 9161, which is only supported by DAQmx base. I am trying to use the "NI data Logger" coming with the DAQmx base to monitoring at least two physical channels with thermocoupler connected, but actually just one channel can be realized at one time.

I am wondering if someone know how to set it for multiple channels (NI 9211 has 4 channels) working simultaneously. Is there anything I can do without bringing Labview programming? Thanks!

Hello,

The following link provides information on sampling multiple channels with NI Data Logger:

I have a brand new USB 9211A 4 channel thermocouple reader. When I modify the datalogger app it works for only up to two channels, i.e. 0:1, 1:2 but not for three or more such as 0:2.

Any ideas? Thanks,

Mark

Good Morning!

Make sure that you are using the same thermocouple type.  NI Data Logger can only acquire from a single thermocouple type at a time.  Additionally, here are some documetns to take a look at that will be helpful:

Hope this helps!
