How to use measure pulse width using a NI-6229 DAQ card and a function generator in Labview?

How would you measure pulse width using a NI-6229 DAQ card and a function generator in Labview?

I can measure voltage levels, but when I try to measure pulse width I have to use the counter signal.
Not only is this signal digital, but it won't let me pick which pin to measure off of, but rather the entire connector.

Hello atl123,
To find the pulse width measurement examples in LabVIEW, go to Help>>Find Examples.  Then navigate to Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx>>Counter Measurements>>Period and Pulse Width.  If you open a pulse width measurement, you will need to connect your signal to the gate of the counter you specify.  For your device, Counter 0 Gate is PFI9 (pin 3), and Counter 1 Gate is PFI4 (pin 41).  Hope this helps!

This would be fine, but none of these examples are compatible with the 6229 DAQ card.

Sure they are.  What version of NI-DAQmx do you have?

How do I connect my signal to the gate of the counter?

I can't find where it will let me use a specific pin, only ctr0 or ctr 1.
