I am tryng to install a cdaq-9172 but Windows cannot find the drivers. I am using Labview 8.0 with DAQmx 8.0. When I cancel windows does not find the drivers. I cannot find the drivers either. Where are the drivers located?

I am tryng to install a cdaq-9172 ,but Windows cannot automatically find the drivers. 

I am using Labview 8.0 with DAQmx 8.0. 

When I cancel windows from searching for the drivers windows just quits looking and does not find the drivers. 

I cannot find the drivers either. 

Where are the drivers located? 

Do I need to upgrade my Labview and DAQmx to et the drivers?

Hi Ed Z,

It is possible that you do not have the apporpriate driver software installed.  I looked at the list of supported hardware in NI-DAQmx 8.0.1 and didn't find the cDaq-9172.  Try installing a later version of the driver, such as NI DAQmx 8.8 at http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1085/lang/en.  You can search for drivers to download at www.ni.com/support and clicking on "drivers and updates".  I hope this helps!
