I can't connect a simulated SC-2345 to a simulated PCI-6036e with MAX 4.5

I'm trying to work some new code offline from the system it runs on. The actual system has a PCI-6036e connected to an SC-2345 with several conditioning modules. On the offline PC, MAX 4.5 does not include an SC-2345 in the dropdown menu even though the SC-2345 sees the 6036 as the "Cabled Device" If I run the code "Error -10401 occurred at AI Group Config" appears. Is the MAX configuration the problem?

Simulated devices in MAX are done with the DAQmx driver, while AI Group Config is a Traditional DAQ driver call.  It is not possible to simulate devices in Traditional DAQ nor is it possible to use simulatead DAQmx devices with Traditional DAQ code.  Either you will be resigned to working with the actual hardware or you will need to upgrade your code to DAQmx.
