I'm having trouble syncing my encoder with the rest of my motor driver and sonar

I've looked at many examples but I cannot get mine to work.  I have created a system where the distance from a sonar controls motor speed.  This works great (see closedloop17).  My problem is when I try to add the encoder.  It works fine separately  but not together (see closedloop12). 

 

I'm working with the cdaq-9172 with cards 9401 and 9263.  Could someone please see if I am missing something obvious?  I'm new to this and I do not have any other resources for help.

Howdy cfin!

 

Please describe in detail what is not working with the encoder and sonar.  Are you received an error message?  Are you receive unexpected values and if so how?
