It is the first time i use Labview 8 and i need to acquire data from a USB-6251. I don't see any driver or module i could use to control the USB-6251and acquire data. Does someone have an answer for me? Thank you.
The driver is called DAQmx and it is on your drivers CD that came with LabVIEW. You also got this driver on a CD with the device. You could also download the latest at http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/276/lang/en.
In LabVIEW, there is is DAQ Assistant (Measurement (I/O>DAQmx palette) or look at the shipping examples (Help>Find Examples>Hardware Input and Output>DAQmx)
