I have a BNC 2120 DAQ. I have been trying to use one of the example VIs, namely Count Digita Events, for counting. I am using the quadrature encoder provided in the DAQ to test it. It works fine as long as the count directions are set for 'Count Up' or 'Count Down'; however, does not work for 'Externally Controlled' , it simply goes to a large number and stays there whether I rotate the quadrature controller knob clockwise or counterclockwise. I am using LabVIEW 2009. I was wondering if it is a bug.
