Incorrect Analog inputs PCI6052E-SCB68

Hi :

I have PCI6052E with the SCB68 Screw terminal.  I am trying to monitor an analog input from a sensor (the output has a positive and negative), and I am using AI-Ch01 on the SCB68 (I have it connected to PINS 33 and PIN66).  However, I get bad readings, the readings fluctuate from what the sensor outputs (around 5.12 V) to 0.00 Volts-10.00 Volts.  What am I doing incorrectly?

Thanks,

Mizar.

Have you configured CH1 for differntial operation? That is how you have wired it up for , I believe, by using pins 33 (CH1) and 66 (CH9).

Yes, that is how I have wired it.

But have you configured that channel for differential mode in software- either via MAX or directly in your LabVIEW code?

In addition to AK2DM's queries, one more query to you!

Hi:

Yes, I have the channel set to Differential mode in the measurement explorer.  Do I have to also set it in the same mode in LabView?.  I am using LabView 6.1.

The Sensor is a capacitive sensor with an analog output ranging from 0-10 Volts.  Based on the current measurement, the output should range anywhere from 4 Volts to 6 Volts DC.
