Initialize and continuously monitor status of cDAQ chassis and modules - Best production software practices

New to Labview, old and... lazy.  I would like to have some nice shiny LEDs continuously indicating the "status" of the chassis and modules over this newfangled Ethernet thingy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Which cDAQ chasis and modules are you using? Could you give more information about what do you want to do?
