Installing PCI-MIO-16XE-50 board on Windows XP

I need help. I need to install a PCI-MIO-16XE-50 board in Windows XP. I executed the following steps to install the board: 1) I installed the driver NI-DAQ 7.20; 2) I restart the the PC; 3) I turned off the PC; 4) I installed the board in PC; 5) I turned on the PC. The windows didn't recognize the board. Which driver should install for the PCI-MIO-16XE-50 board? Does have some specific sequence to install the driver and the board?

What API are you planning to use the card with? Traditional DAQ or DAQmx? Have a look at the following link for the latest driver to be installed:

NI-DAQ Driver Support: PCI/PXI Devices

You have stepped through the right sequence. Try installing with the latest driver on the same PC. If that doesn't work, try installing on another PC. If it still doesn't work, then I would suspect a problem with the card. And, if it does work on another PC, then it's a problem with the driver installation or the OS.

Adnan, thank you for support and excuse me for the delay in answering him. The suggestion was very good and it helped to diagnose that the slot PCI of PC was with defect. I changed the slot PCI and the PCI-MIO-16XE-50 board was recognized by the windows.
