We´re about to develop a low power logger with GPS functionality using a PDA and a DAQ-card (maybe HP iPAQ 614 and USB-6009). Can anyone tell us if PDA and USB gives us a robust DAQ solution? The system must be able to reconfigure automatically at power-up without any need of manually disconnecting the USB cable. Should we choose PCMCIA or Compact Flash DAQ cards instead? Any suggestions on a suitable PDA?
