Is it ok to leave RTSI cable connectors unterminated?

Hello,

I have an application where I would like to synchronize three DAQ cards using their RTSI capability.  However, for development purposes, I would like to monitor the clock lines of the RTSI bus using an oscilloscope.  Is it okay to use a four-connector RTSI cable with my three DAQ card setup and leave one connector free for probing, or will the unterminated connector cause problems with the RTSI bus?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for posting to the NI Forums! There will be no problem leaving the fourth connector unconnected. This is the same as leaving a slot empty in a PXI chassis. There is no issue here. Have a great weekend!
