Is there a multifunction DAQ capable of generating and measuring a 1MHz sine wave?

Hi I somewhat new to DAQ hardware. I have a project that requires the use of LabVIEW in conjunction with a NI DAQ. Some of the requirements are the generation and measurement of a sine wave from 1Kz to 1MHz. After looking at the possible hardware solutions I've seen that the AO are listed in S/s, which I assume is samples per second. But I am unsure how this transfers to desired frequency. Could someone please help me know if its even possible to generate a 1MHz signal with a DAQ unit? Thanks.

You are correct that the reference is samples/sec. A single sample would be a single point in the sine wave so the max frequency would be whatever resolution you choose. Nyquist says you need at least twice but the sine wave would be triangular. Use at least 10 times the desired frequency to get a signal that looks more like a sine wave. You will find high frequency outputs with a function generator.
