Is there an equivalent to WFM_Group_Control PAUSE function in NI-DAQmx?

In traditional NI-DAQ, you can use WFM_Group_Control to programmatically pause and resume analog output waveform generation.  Is it possible to pause and resume AO waveform generation in NI-DAQmx?

Hello Eliot,

In DAQmx, you would want to use a pause trigger to pause and resume your waveform generation.  You would need a digital signal that changes states when you want to pause and resume.  You could programmatically produce this signal by writing to one of your digital out lines when you want this to occur.  If you have not already seen it, the DAQmx C Reference help that installs with the driver is a good place to look for functions.

When I first read about the Pause triggers I thought it only meant analog windowed triggers, but a more careful reading shows I missed the part about digital triggers.  This would probably work for me.
