LabVIEW 5 and Ni-DAQ mx compatibility

I have a DAQ (PCI-6281) installed in a XP operating system.  When I try to use the program that is written in LabVIEW 5.0.1f, no data is being read or recorded from the channals, but there are signals when I run LabVIEW SignalExpress.  I have found that LabView 5 is not compatible with the new (Ni-Daq mx) driver, and my program requires some files from Ni-Daq Lagecy, so I have both Ni-Daq Lagecy and mx installed.  Is there a way to make the card work with my old program?

The first version of LabVIEW with DAQmx support is 7.0. There is no way to get a 5.0 program to use DAQmx. You would have to upgrade your version of LabVIEW and rewrite the code since there is also no way to use traditional DAQ functions with that card.
