Hi JamesWikston,

The officially tested DAQmx driver for Linux is NI-DAQmx Base 3.6. You can get the latest driver in this page:

Also, you can check this link for FAQ of this topic:

Operating System Support
------------------------
NI-DAQmx 8.0.2 for Linux software for the Intel x86 32-bit architecture is
supported on the following Linux distributions:

* Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop + Workstation 5
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 4
* openSUSE 11.3
* openSUSE 11.2
* openSUSE 11.1

These are the only Linux distributions and versions that are supported by this
release.  Support of or compatibility with any other distribution or version is
neither expressed nor implied, nor should it be inferred.

NI-DAQmx supports only the x86 architectures.  NI-DAQmx
does not support systems with hardware (memory or memory-mapped devices) beyond
the first 4GB of physical address space.  NI-DAQmx will fail to load if it detects
hardware beyond this address limit.  To ensure the successful operation of your
National Instruments products on 32-bit Linux, you should use a kernel
configuration that recognizes 4GB or less of physical memory.
