Location to Add Channels...

When you add a channel to a task, there's a pull-down menu named "Location To Add Channels" at the bottom of the dialog box.  What does this mean? 

The choices of the pull-down menu are "End of the scan" and "End of the measurements".

I haven't been able to find any info. on this on the online Help or on the Discussion Forums.

Hi 2and4,

I'm assuming you're referring to the DAQ Assistant and adding a channel like this:

"End of Scan" means that the channel added will go at the end of the scan list, regardless of what type of measurement (Voltage, Thermocouple, Strain...). "End of Measurement" will add the new channel at the end of a group of like channels. So in the picture above, if I chose to add a Voltage channel with End of Scan, it would go at the end of the list, if I chose "End of Measurement" it would add it after Voltage3.
