Looking for buffer card for NI 7833R for hv protection

Hi

I have a quick question: My client here at the university purchased a NI 7833RR DAQ board as an I/O card to his PC. They plan to do measurement and control in a laser lab environment. They asked me if we can design/build an additional interface to protect the 7833 from accidental high voltage injections. The voltages could be in the hundreds but less than 1KV. He plans to use analogue and digital I/O. Before I embark trying to design something for their purpose I want to know if a commercially available 'buffer card' is available to do just that. It could save us time and money. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I hope you are doing well today! I don't think we have any cards which provide such high overvoltage protection. You can go through our cDAQ modules and check the data sheets to see which card might be suitable for you.
