MAX can't detect PXI-6220 in my PXI -1033

Please help -- MAX is unable to detect my NI PXI 6220 in my chassis. I am using NI Express Card-8360 with my Dell vostro 1000 (BIOS 2.6.2) connected to NI PXI-1033. I am also having problem booting my laptop when the express card is connected.

Baf, what issues are you having when you boot your laptop? What does everything look like in device manager (and specifically, the PCI to PCI bridge in device manager)? Have you tried updating the BIOS on your laptop to the latest version?
